Lessons often start with theory on wind conditions, equipment, and safety procedures. Then, you'll learn kite control on land before progressing to the water for body dragging exercises and eventually board riding practice.
We provide all the necessary equipment including kites, boards, harnesses, helmets, and life vests.
We have policies in place for rescheduling lessons in case of unfavorable weather conditions. It may offer alternatives or refunds depending on their specific terms and conditions.
In general there is always wind on Sal, however the best wind would be from December to March, during this time, you can expect steady winds averaging from 13.5 to 18.9 knots, ideal for kite surfing. There is typically less wind from July to September, however, kite surfing is still usually possible even during these calmer periods.

Not necessarily. We offer lessons for beginners, starting with the basics of kite control and safety. However, having some experience in other water sports or a good sense of balance can be beneficial.
